  A Chorum of 3 members from each section (Scouting and Guiding)  is required at Group Council before votes on large expenditure items can take place.

To give you an idea of items discussed and approved and the type of expenditure please see below. This does not include general day to day expenditure on Gas, electricity, water, rated, cleaner, etc

  • Plastic Bowls, Baking trays - £50 max approved
  • Christmas Tree Stand -

  • Gas cookers repaired - this will now be on an annual basis inspection - £180
  • 16 Tents - £2k  under discussion - under discussion 2011 pending quotes
  • 2 Quoted obtained for fencing - approved
  • Varnish cupboards - Approved and carried out Summer 2011
  • 6 tents to be purchased now for event in October rest in Spring

  • Walkway through Wetlands - £56 for 6' of walkway  x No of feet - Agreed in principle discuss final for implementation in Spring
  • Agreed to invest £15,000 in bonds for 2 Years this is equivalent of 2 yrs running costs we need to keep in Bank.
  • Replacement Storage Cupboard Fronts - to be carried out half term
  • Locks for storage cupboards 1 spare and 2 per unit
  • Gate repairs
  • Radiator Covers - improvements in discussion
  • Scale for Gas bottles - needs to take 30 Kilos - approved
  • Planning fee for Shed Application

  • Shed - wet gear - £1,400 approx  32'  - approved
  • Shed base concrete - £3,500 approx  40' x 15' - approved
  • Fence - £1,650  - approved subject to quotes
  • Tarmac between new shed and existing shed - £750 approx - approved
  • Move Electric box and water connection over - £420 - approved
  • Photocopier £150 budget  - approved
  • Recycling fans - Approx £800 - agreed to hold this item for future funds
