Unity is an International Camp which takes place every 4 years in Staffordshire
Who can go: Guides and Rangers only. -
Senior Section over the age of 16 and Adults can also take part as members of the Service Team
Who else will come: 1200 participants who come from Staffordshire, the surrounding Counties and as International Visitors
Where: the grounds of Shugborough Hall, nr Stafford, Staffordshire   ...................for directions
When: The camp takes place on
Saturday 31 July to Saturday 7 August 2010 

Stockton Brook took  5 Leaders and 2 Guides, we camped as part of  Leek Division

In an emergency either your home Contact, Division Camp Leader  or the Main Sub Camp Leader will call you,
Please do not call your home Contact unless there is an emergency at home and you need to contact one of the Leaders.
Money: 
Camp fees £125 which includes all activities, and our visit to Fusion
Food:  £30  
Pocket money: Parents should give their girls no more than £5 a day preferably in envelopes per day and one main envelope all market with the girls name. 
All other expenses have been funded via our Centenary fundraising activities.
Parents will be expected to take Girls to camp, details will be discussed at a parents meeting closer to the camp.
Arrival and Departure:
Arrival: Saturday 31st Our slot is 1.30pm - unload bags and leave them on the Thistle Sub Camp drop off zone.
Parents must then leave, girls can then carry their bags to our camp site
Departure: Saturday 8 August - Our slot is 12.00 noon  - there is a 30 minute slot for 4 Divisions to leave so please be at the drop off zone

The camp is a chance for Guides to meet other girls from around the world, have fun, make new friends, and Swop, as well as camp with their wonderful guide Leaders and friends. ......and a chance to take part in the wonderful art of camp rivalry .... we are the girls from Thistle, Thistle Thistle.

What to Expect:-
there will be a wide range of on and off site activities arranged together with an exciting programme of evening activities
Saturday: Arrival and Set up Camp, a memorable Opening Ceremony
Sunday: Global Village : A day of activities on our sub camp with a Scottish theme : so ....Scottish dancing, highland games, - tossing the caber, hammer throwing,  quizes, water fun games
Monday: Go Girl: Its a Knockout am; and pm Try your hand at new skills you can share with others)
Tuesday: Go Active: Climbing, Caving, Archery, Kayaking, Canoeing, Bell Boating and more  - this is our shower day
Wednesday: A Day out at Fusion which the main International Camp which takes place at Harewood House in Leeds - we all go by Coach to Leeds for a day of fun and excitement  - all 1500 of us
Thursday: Go Creative (Crafts and Wide game challenges),  plus an evening Hike - Orienteering over Cannock chase
Friday: Go Global: Yoga, Bangra Dancing, International Crafts, Games - Explore the cultures of the World Memorable Closing Ceremony
Saturday: Strike Camp say our goodbyes to all our new friends and go home

This is an International camp for Guides and Senior Section (1200 girls attending) arranged by Girlguiding Staffordshire which takes place at Shugborough, there will be lots of fun, games and activities including:- Climbing, Caving, an Army Assault course, Cooking skills, Archery, Aerobics, Bouncy, Nail Art, Kayaking, Water Activities, Yoga, International Dance, Cycling, Hiking, Orienteering, Face painting, experimenting with Science....and a day trip to Fusion at the main International Centenary camp at Harewood House (60,0000 girls will be at this camp)  and includes a
