The event is to be themed around the forthcoming Olympic Challenge
and will be held at Stockton Brook Scout and Guide HQ

Activities under consideration are:- Volleyball, Tangam, Olympic Circles, Parachute, Olympic Plays, Campfire, Tai Chi, Aspiring Olympians

The aim of the badge is promote the WAGGGS message to ’discover your potential’ in many different ways, including sport.

To celebrate the fact that the Games of the XXIX Olympiad will be held in Beijing in 2008, Hong Kong Girl Guides Association has been working with WAGGGS to bring a new Olympia Badge with a Chinese flavour.

They hope that the badge will encourage girls and young women to improve their knowledge of sports, support the ideal of women as peacemakers and promote intercultural understanding.
