One of the ingredients of a good Unit is underlying discipline. All girls are expected to behave well and appropriately. This is essential and inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted. Generally, minor incidents will be dealt with by a telling off. More serious examples, such as bullying, inappropriate language or conversation, will result in a the girls being spoken to in the presence of two Leaders, followed by parents being contacted if the incident persists; this may result in the girl being asked not to attend for a period of time, or to leave permanently. These measures may seem obvious, but we feel it important that all our members are aware of what is expected of them. Patrol Leaders, Patrol Seconders and other older Guides in particular will be asked to set a good example to the younger members of the pack. Safety within the Pack is our prime consideration. |

Camps and Sleepovers These behavioural procedures extend to camps and sleepovers. Where a particular member or members are not behaving, or disturbing the activities and enjoyment of these by members of the Unit; then Leaders reserve the right to exclude members from activities and send them home if felt necessary. This may in some instances result in a phone call to a parent - even in the middle of the night - and request for a parent to collect her daughter and take them home immediately. The member will also be expected to explain to her parents how she has behaved and why she is being sent home. |

Uniform Girlguiding UK is a uniformed organisation. We expect girls to be smart and observe dress code at all times. Attendance at meetings without uniform will lose 20 points which will count towards individual points total and Patrol points. |
