28 March 2009 Disco Night: Guides are hosting a Rainbow Disco followed by a Brownies and Guide Disco - entry is £1 with lots of fun games and dancing planned.
21 March 2009 Pie Peas and Quiz Social Evening:- Dawn and Charlotte are hosting a Pie, Mushy peas and Quiz night - this is a Social event and fun night with Parents, Leaders, Explorers and Senior Section members invite to attend. Proceeds from the event are fundraising towards their Trip to Italy at Easter
 12 March 2009 Body Shop Party: The Guides hosted a Body Shop party on 12 March at the HQ - this was to fundraise for  International Trip's - Bev's Trip to Wings 2009 and Dawn's Trip to Italy over Easter  £44.50 was raised by 10% of Body Shop Sales £24 form a Raffle .
There was also a Jewellery and Card stall. We also sold cake and drinks . We timed the event the week before Mothers day so that everyone could get something for Mum
Feb 2009 on 7 February 19 Guides and 4 Leaders went on a trip to Cadburys along with our Beavers, Cubs, Explorers, Scouts and Us - two whole Coaches 106 of us in all - off to Bourneville to taste Chocolate - ahh a Guides Idea of Heaven.
Jan 2009 on 31 Jan and 1st February the Guides help a Sleepover at the HQ in aid of the Homeless as part of our Changing the World programme. We did lots of activities involved with the Homeless and feet and had a fantastic time.
Sept 2008 On 12, 13 and 14 September we Camped at Kibblestone, an action packed weekend was had by all, the first night being very wet; thankfully we woke up to sunshine on Saturday . We took part in Abseiling, Stream Walking (inc a mud bath!!!!!), an assault course, visit to Mostly Lea Mill, lots of food, cooking, games and fun ......we needed a holiday to recuperate.
Aug 2008 On 16 and 17 August we had a Sleepover at the HQ, we were also joined by members of Endon Guides,  .......the weekend was themed around an Olympic Challenge
Aug 2008 In early August Kayla (one of our trainee Leaders ) went off to Austria, she was selected as a Leader to go on an International water activities camp. Well done Kayla. She rewarded us with an enthusiastic  talk and slide show of what she had been up to, on her adventure, when she returned. 

July 2008

On 11 July we took part in a division CAMP weekend at Barnswood 12 Guides and 3 Leaders went joining with other Guides from Leek Division, in all there were 52 Guides and 11 Leaders in Camp . The first night was very wet indeed...ask the Leaders about their tent...!!!!!!
