From the A500 south

A34 direction Stone and Stafford

(or go via Cellarhead and Meir)

Take signposts for the A51

Continue South on A51 (Stone)

Through Rugeley, taking Main Road (the A51), continue south for a couple of miles

(see inset map)

As you go past the Golf course on your left, take a right into Brereton Hill Lane (signpost upper Longdon)

Once you come into Upper Longdon take a left down Grange Hill, you will come into Bardy Lane – this is single track road,

This winds and becomes Horsey lane

At the fork take the right fork into Malthouse Road

(you are now in Gentleshaw)

Then turn right at the junction  - Budds Rd

 - this is now signposted Beaudesert /Cannock Wood.

Turn right up Sycamore Hill, this is signposted Beaudesert / Cannock Wood.

The camp site is at the junction of  Chestall Rd & Holly Hill Rd – Cannock Wood

 

On entering the park go down the drive bearing left after 200 yards. Follow the drive till you meet the main gate.

Follow signs through the one way system to the main car park (on your left – see camp site map).
