Cubs
are Boys .......and Girls aged six and over! Cub MeetingsThe Cub pack meets on a Tuesday night. Meetings start at 7pm unless otherwise informed. Some meetings may take place at venues other than at the Scout Headquarters, and parents are asked to make their own transport arrangements if possible. If this proves difficult then the Cub Leader can usually help find a lift. All Cubs are expected to attend regularly. We would ask that Parents wait in the entrance foyer/extension to pick up their sons /daughters. We ask that Parents ALWAYS come into the Headquarters to pick their children up, this gives the Leaders chance to speak to parents, for parents to be made aware of forthcoming activities, and for Subs and Activity payments to be collected, It is important to us that parents understand what happens at Cubs and to take an interest. Cubs are asked not to leave the building until their parents are there to pick them up. If someone else other than yourself is to pick up your child - you must tell the Cub Leader at the start of the meeting, who will make a note of this - this is for your son/daughters safety. All unit members are expected to attend regularly. If your son/daughter does not attend Cubs for one month, without letting us know then we will usually fill his/ her place with another boy/girl. The Unit is run by a Scouter and a team of Adult leaders. Please ensure that there are two adult Leaders at the meeting before you leave your child.
