Scouting UK	Cub Promise	Law
All members of the Scout Movement make a special promise. When boys are invested as Cubs, they should know the Cub Scout Law and will also have to make their promise in front of the Pack.	The Cub Scout Promise I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God and to the Queen, to help other people, and to keep the Cub Scout Law.	The Cub Scout Law Cub Scouts always to their best, think of others before themselves and do a good turn every day.
	To love my God - Where in a religion, God has a name which is more commonly used , that name may be substituted; in order to make the Promise more meaningful to every boy girl and man woman. In such cases the Scouter will discuss the meaning of the Promise with the member and person with parental responsibility for him/her.
