Who are we?

Explorers are Boys and Girls aged Fourteen to Twenty Five
We get together regularly to do lots of exciting things and generally have a good laugh.

The explorer unit meets every Monday night at 8.00pm 9.30pm unless otherwise informed. We ask are explorers to arrive at 7.45pm so we can do flag break promptly for 8.00pm, so planned meetings can take place.

We have a subs system which is  £2 a week,  every week,  even if the explorer is ill or on holiday;  this  cover's the explorer instance for the whole year. Most of our meeting's  take place at Stockton Brook  Scout HQ or outside of the Scout HQ if we have other plans. E.g. activities or visiting other groups in or District.

We do ask all unit members to attend regularly.

Unit system

The explorer system is much different from the other sections as we are district based. This means that  whatever Explorer group you are a member of, you are also able to attend any other explorer units in the district. As explorers you  plan your own meetings and decide what you would like to do  within the unit , and the Leaders come up with a few spitzes along the way
