Guides are off to
Unity 2010
from Sat 31 July to Sat 8 August:-
This is an International camp for Guides and Senior Section (1200
girls attending) arranged by Girlguiding Staffordshire which takes
place at Shugborough, there will be lots of fun, games and
activities including:- Climbing, Caving, an Army Assault course,
Cooking skills, Archery, Aerobics, Bouncy, Nail Art, Kayaking, Water
Activities, Yoga, International Dance, Cycling, Hiking,
Orienteering, Face painting, experimenting with Science....and a day
trip to Fusion at the main International Centenary camp at Harewood
House (60,0000 girls will be at this camp) and includes a |
June 11 12 and 13th:
Guiding Centenary Celebration Weekend, - Beavers, Rainbows,
Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides and Explorers are to take part in a
weekend of Fun and Activities to celebrate 100 years of Guiding

Group Council Needs Parents
Do you have 2 hours to spare 6 days a year? We need parent volunteers
to sit on the Group Council and have a say in how we run the HQ
more.... |

| Fundraising

Rainbows Brownies and Guides are now enjoying the
Guiding Centenary
which commenced on 5 September 09 until 20 October 2010. We anticipate holding many events to assist
with fundraising during the coming year. Your support is much appreciated.

Tesco Vouchers: We have collected 710 vouchers this year
which brings our total up to 2, 610 vouchers - which have
been banked;
as this is short of the
16,500 we need for our target of a Projector
Sainsbury's Vouchers: we have collected 1,586 vouchers -
which have been banked
to save up for a curling set

August 2009: over a two week period - the main hall ceiling
and windows were replaced to increase the insulation to a modern standard
and improve the appearance - we are now warm as toast. |
